May, 27 "Useless..."

Una delle tante barche che si vedono nel "Charco" di Arrecife, molte sono in acqua pronte ad essere usate e altre sono un po' meno pronte...come questa. Credo pero' che con il diminuire della loro funzionalita' aumenti il loro fascino, la loro bellezza. Non so perche', forse per il loro sapore di vita vissuta. Potrebbe essere la speranza di diventare piu' affascinanti con l'invecchiare....mah, si vedra'!

This is one of the many boats that you can find in Arrecife's "El Charco", the majority of them are in the water ready to be used while some others are a little bit less ready...as this one in the photo. I believe though that with the decline in their "usability", they gain in fascination, in beauty. I don't know why, maybe because of their feel of a life that has been fully lived. Well, it could be the hope for all of us to get more fascinating by getting older...well, we'll see!
