May, 11 "Vigna Lavica"

Questa e' un'altra delle foto scattate ieri, si era fatto un po' troppo buio dopo il tramonto per cui forse le foglie della vigna sono un po' mosse...nonostante il treppiedi, il tempo d'esposizione troppo lungo ha catturato inevitabilmente il movimento delle foglie dovuto al vento che qui non manca mai! Ad ogni modo questa vigna in particolare cattura sempre la mia attenzione, e' cosi' diversa nei colori dalle vigne a cui sono abituata che si trovano nell'astigiano in Piemonte. Il nero crea un contrasto stupendo con il verde delle foglie. La struttura della vigna in se' e' simile a quelle nostre, nel senso che e' composta da lunghe file parallele di viti. Ma la maggior parte delle vigne a Lanzarote sono diverse da questa. E proprio per questo si distinguono ancora di piu' da quelle italiane (e del resto del mondo oserei dire!). Domani spero di riuscire ad andare in giro nella zona viticola de "La Geria" per scattare delle foto per mostrare la loro singolarita'. A domani....hic!

This shot was taken yesterday, when I was finally able to go out shooting some pictures. This is a vineyard here in Lanzarote. What strikes me everytime is the contrast in the color of the black lavic stone with the green of the leaves! I find that amazing, it looks so different from the vineyards we have in Itlaly, I am used to seeing them in the Asti province. The "crop structure" in this case is made of parallel lines , but the vast majority of the vineyards here in Lanzarote actually have a different structure. I hope I'll be able to go to "La Geria" tomorrow (this is the name of the part of the island where there is all the wine production) and take some pictures to show exactly what I'm talking about.
