Notte illuminata

Oggi e' stato il compleanno di Robert, e lui ha sempre adorato questa foto. Durante il challenge "Every Day In May" mi diceva sempre di usarla ma siccome e' una foto relativamente vecchia, non era piu' sul computer. L'avevo inatti spostata su un cd, il quale era ancora nella scatola in cui era stato messo per il trasloco dal Portogallo...insomma, non l'avevo mai ancora ri-salvata sul computer. Fino a stasera. Il programma era una cenetta fuori che, per svariati motivi, e' saltata...il mio umore e' un po' sceso nei piedi...e allora ho deciso di dedicarmi ad una foto per scaricarmi. La scelta e' caduta su questa, una sorta di dedica per il suo compleanno...(anche se avrei preferito essere in un romantico ristorantino!!!) Scattata a Benidorm nell'ormai lontano Maggio 2004...avevo appena comprato la mia prima macchina fotografica digitale, una Minolta adesso nelle mani di mia mamma da quando posseggo la mia amata Canon Eos 350d!

Buon Compleanno marito...!

Today it was Robert's birthday, he has always loved this photo a lot. During the challenge "Every Day In May" he was always suggesting me to use it but I didn't because, since it is a pretty old shot, it wasn't stored on my computer anymore and the Cd which it was on had been put in a box for the move from Portugal to here and it still hadn't been taken out...Until tonight. The real program for the night was supposed to be a nice and romantic dinner out, which for many different reasons didn't happen...my mood went down and for this reason I decided to spend sometime on a photo of mine trying to relax a little bit. I finally chose this one, some sort of virtual present for him...(even if I still would have preferred being in a romantic restaurant!!!) It was shot in Benidorm in the now faraway May 2004...I had just purchased my first digital camera, a Minolta which is now in my mum's hands since I own my beloved Canon Eos 350d! Happy Birthday husband...!
