May, 21 "Cielo Imprigionato"

Well, it's really late today, we had so many things to do...But here I am with today's photo. Yes, that's it: this is the "typical landscape" from Lanzarote...and it comes right from the little terrace in our apartment...! What can I say...unfortunately the night in March we arrived on the island we had so many problems that we couldn't find a better place to stay, but you'll never know we might be able to improve during our stay here! Anyway I always (more or less...) try to find the positive side in every situation...and in this specific case I believe I did find it yesterday afternoon ;)

May, 20 "Stairway to Heaven"

Stairway to Heaven Dove ci porteranno queste scale? Lo vogliamo scoprire? Sembra ci sia tanta luce alla fine...
Where will these stairs lead us? Do we want to find out? It looks like there's a lot of light at the end...

May, 19 "Married at Sea"

Today's photo has been taken a few days ago in a part of town called "El Charco". To me it is the most peculiar part of all Arrecife, it is made of many little wooden bridges, colored in blue, that cross this very small bay. Here there are several little boats all made of colored wood (you cannot find any big boats). These two struck me for their closeness to each other and the way they were dancing together at the rhythm of the currents. This photo gives me a great feeling of peace...The beautiful name was suggested by my husband...what a romantic man!!!

May, 18 "A Pretty Mistake"

Scattata forse addirittura all'inizio dell'anno, in Portogallo a Lagos.
This is another picture taken from my "archive" on my computer. It has been shot at the beginning of the year in Lagos, Portugal. It's a bit of a mistake...but I like it a lot! The colors are my favourites, it gives me a sense of calm...and today I definitely needed it!

May, 17 "L'Abbandono"

I managed to go to Teguise yesterday, I found the store that sells natural eggs and it actually sells all kind of organic goodies: vegetables, potatoes, cheese, bread,....The selection I have to say it's little, but that's better than nothing! And the store keeper has swiss-italian origins, so he spoke perfect italian (better than me speaking spanish...:)) When I was there he told me he had just received a box of organic strawberries, I couldn't resist....I'm not buying them in the grocery store anymore because those are really full with pesticides and I would say that they are very close to being poisonous. Good, don't get me wrong, but....These organic ones were spectacular!!! I walked back to the car with a box full of good stuff, I drove towards home and on the way, in the middle of nowhere, I ran into the subject of today's pic. It captured my attention!

May, 15 "Casa sulle Pietre"
